Requestly Update – June 2024

Hey Requestlians 👋,

Here is another exciting update from Requestly.

Launched SessionBear — A Free & Open-Source Chrome Extension for reporting bugs

If you are still using Loom to explain bugs, you will find SessionBear a fresh breath of air. With SessionBear, You can capture complete bug reports that contain

  • Screen Recording
  • Network Logs
  • Console Logs
  • Browser Information

This will reduce bug reporting time by 20x and save developers time troubleshooting the bugs.

→ Demo Video
→ Install SessionBear from the Chrome Store

Capture & Modify HTTP traffic from Android Emulators
(1-Click Setup)

We’ve made it easy to use Requestly along with the Android Emulators. Now, you can download the desktop app, and It automatically identifies the running emulators. With a single click, you can turn ON the HTTP traffic interception & modify the traffic.

Improved Collaboration through Team Workspaces

We’ve significantly improved Collaboration through the team workspaces feature. Using this feature, all the HTTP Rules, API Mocks, and Sessions live together in one place for all the team members.

→ It is important to note that HTTP Rules live together, but when you turn ON/OFF a rule, it is enabled only for you and not for your colleagues.

Community Love

Requestly is an incredibly useful tool for developers, whether you’re working on a large team with multiple staging environments, numerous application endpoints for various APIs, databases, services, front-ends, or even working solo or just in a local environment. While it has advanced features, making it useful for just about any development scenario, it’s also easy enough for anyone new to web development or looking to poke around and learn more about how networking happens under the hood.
